80/20 Inc., makers of "The Industrial Erector Set" has immediate openings for production positions (all shifts)!

Preferred candidates will have a great attitude, work at a fast pace, are detail oriented, have a great attendance record, can get along well with others, and have an understanding of the importance of quality and customer service. They will also have a great willingness to learn. All candidates must be able to stand continuously, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, reach, twist and lift up to 50 lbs., or more repeatedly for at least an eight hour shift. Candidates must also be able to understand English. Shipping Positions: Candidates must be able to count accurately, package, and log parts per customer purchase orders. Some positions require a candidate be able to palletize and operate packaging and labeling equipment. May be able to obtain and operate a forklift.

Extrusion Processing: Candidates must be able to load and unload materials and operate basic equipment (saw, tapper, etc.). May be required to obtain and operate a forklift and be able to read a tape measure.

Department: Value Add
Position Title: Value Add Technician

Position Description:
Must accurately and efficiently assist the Value Add department by reading and interpreting drawings to assemble orders per customer’s specifications. May also be required to assist with loading fasteners, installing T-Slot covers, building, assembling and shipping completed projects. Must also assist with the design, building, installation, and deliveries of various 80/20 exhibits, demonstration units, and special projects. Troubleshooting errors on drawings, communicating with distributors and/or customers via phone, email or fax.

Preferred Qualifications:
Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds on a continuous basis during the entire work shift. Must be able to read work instructions, procedures, and verbally communicate with other employees. Normal vision range required. Should be knowledgeable in 80/20 products and able to provide verbal and written quotations. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers. Must know and understand fraction and decimal conversion. Must be able to accurately read a tape measure and work with various air and hand tools. Candidate must also have or be able to obtain a fork truck license
