To properly apply a standard tube insert, the distance from the end of the profile to the center of the first mounting hole must be .750”. This also means that by using the pre-manufactured hole pattern in the profile, your cut lengths are required to be divisible by 1.50”. For lengths other than those divisible by 1.50” there are two options available.

Visit the Training Center for more information on
HT Series™ assembly.

Option #1 (plain tube with no pre-manufactured holes)

The first option is to choose one of the ten available HT Series™ profiles that do not have the pre-manufactured hole pattern.

Simply cut the material to the desired length and specify the appropriate clearance drill service and style.

Option #2 (the Extended Tube Insert)

The second option, shown in the illustration below, illustrates the use of an Extended Tube Insert in the profile end that has the irregular hole spacing. This extended insert is located at the second
pre-manufactured hole instead of the first and will also require the use of a 3.50" connector bolt for fastening the two profiles together.
