To
properly apply a standard tube insert, the distance from the end of the
profile to the center of the
first mounting hole must be .750”. This also means that by using
the pre-manufactured hole pattern in the profile, your cut lengths are required to be divisible by 1.50”.
For lengths other than those divisible by
1.50” there are two options available.
The
second option, shown in the illustration below, illustrates the use of
an Extended
Tube Insert in the profile end that has
the irregular hole spacing. This extended
insert is located at the second
pre-manufactured hole instead of the first
and will also require the use of a 3.50" connector bolt for fastening
the two profiles together.
