Position Title: CM Saw Operator
Position Description:
Perform saw operations to cut raw materials per customer specifications and blueprints for Custom Machining department. Perform secondary standard saw and machining services for Extrusion Processing when able. Perform Quality Control duties in regards to checking finished product and performing set-up check per blueprint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Great attitude and attendance required. Prefer working knowledge of measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers; must have working knowledge of tape measures. Outstanding mechanical aptitude and verbal communication skills are important. Must pay great attention to detail, have the ability to work well within a team, be a self-starter, and be able to lift 50 lbs. Internal candidates must have less than 5 attendance points.
Position Title: CNC Operator
Position Description:
Operate CNC equipment and drilling machines without complex set-up responsibilities. Monitor quality of work processed. Communicate any tooling changes, quality issues, etc. with appropriate people. Maintain proper coolant concentration levels. Assist other areas as needed. Set-up and operate metal finishing equipment with an emphasis on automatic saws and semi-automatic saws. May operate vibratory tumblers, buffing wheels, drill presses, and de-burring machines. Stage parts for the manufacturing process. Perform simple maintenance duties on machines as needed. Assist where needed within the department.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic CNC and machinery knowledge preferred. Excellent mechanical skills; good speed and accuracy; attention to detail and quality; above average math skills; great attitude and attendance; Experience with metal cutting equipment preferred. Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings; must be able to read calipers and a tape measure. Forklift experience preferred. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, walk, bend, twist, reach, and climb.
